Writers write.

I've been reading some good writing lately. Online (link is a wantsacracker - Hell's Sheriff) and Tom Robbins "Jitterbug Perfume". I always feel a bit cheap after reading Tom Robbins and I figured out why at last: he flatters his readers. Flattery is always fabulous until you notice it. Then it makes a spinster like me feel dirty.

Yes, spinster. I think that's what I am. I don't write so much as spin. Stories. Plots. Characters. I want to get back to the desk soon, take that damn novel out and decide one last time whether it's worth working on and if it's not then decide to work on something new.

That's my plan.
