The truth is

that things have been just miserable here and it's not our circumstances which are very good and steady and stable, it's emotional stuff for me and some old addiction stuff and of course the bone wearying grief I feel hit me several times during the day, evening, night, in my sleep waking me up with a fright or in my dreams.
